Nature is where art and science meet.

“Art takes nature as its model.” ~ Aristotle

“Look deep into nature, and then you will understand everything better.” ~ Albert Einstein

My multi-passionate soul appreciates Nature for both the art and the science of it.

Nature and Art

“Art will never be able to exist without nature.” ~ Pierre Bonnard

There is a beauty in the natural world that no human creation could hope to supplant. And we, as humans, are part of that web of beauty.

I have been on hikes that have made me want to just stop and pull out my journal and write poetry. (I’m not much of a poet, but the few poems I have written and actually liked have one thing in common — they are about nature!) Drawing and painting are not my strong suits, but I have gotten lost in a single flower for hours at a time, relaxing into a form of meditation as I sketch every detail. I also love flexing my photography skills using the beautiful natural places I visit as a subject.

Nature and Science

“The subtlety of nature is greater many times over than the subtlety of the sense and understanding.” ~ Francis Bacon

I have always had a deep curiosity about nature. As a child, I always wanted to better…
